Episode 352 – How Goes Maine and Nevada

Seven pre-rolled marijuana joints in natural-tan papers sit on a mottled white table- three of the joints are elevated above the other four on a stylish black paper box- all are set against a blurred background of an orange-red box with the bottom of un-readable black text centered upon.

First-time guests Amanda Connor and Hannah E. King join host Heather Sullivan to talk about the current state of affairs in Maine and Nevada’s legal cannabis markets as well as the journey they both took to becoming lawyers active in the legal marijuana industry. Produced by Shea Gunther.

Check out Connor & Connor of Las Vegas, Nevada and Hannah King over at DrummondWoodsum of Portland, Maine.

Episode 342 – Federal Moves Towards Legal Marijuana

A small little stuffed creature- squarish in shape with brown fur, cute black eyes, and a big open red mouth with adorable little pointy teeth- is seen near the lens standing in front of the Washington Monument- set farther back and blurred out. The little adorable stuffed creature is waring a set of pink and white bunny ears sized-to-match.

Mike Liszewski and Jahan Marcu join host Heather Sullivan to talk about the most recent advances at the federal level for the legalization of marijuana, the science and business of Delta 8 THC, and the fight to legalize homegrow in Washington State. Produced by Shea Gunther.

Episode 341 – Marijuana’s Big Moment

The U.S. Capitol Building is seen in the middle of the frame- small- with the Washington Monument rising up above it and setting the proper scale. The Lincoln Memorial building is seen in front of the base of the Monument and shows the compression in-frame created by the use of a long camera lens. The overall tone of the photo is rather muted, but the Capitol building is brightly lit up with a partially-cloud golden sky behind it. The image feels like there is hope in the darkness.

Anne Donohoe and first-time-guest Tauhid Chappell join host Ben Larson to talk about the latest developments at the federal level for progressive cannabis policy reform, the expanding need for proper social equity programs, and the ever-marching normalization of cannabis in contemporary media. Produced by Shea Gunther.
